AHAM’s own consumer rule — a smoke CADR of at least two-thirds of the room’s area — puts the ceiling for this unit at about 375 ft², which is the same arithmetic at roughly five air changes an hour.

Mechanical means California's certifier identified no ozone-generating component, so the unit was never subject to the ozone emission test that Electronic devices must pass.

It is not stated on the purifier's page at all, so if you go looking where you would expect to find it, you will not. And a six-to-twelve month range is wide enough to be nearly two different answers — at one end you buy one a year, at the other you buy two. For comparison inside the same brand: Levoit states 6–12 months for the Vital 100S-P, 6–8 for the Vital 100, 6–8 for the Core 200S, and nothing at all for the Core 400S and Core Mini. The intervals are not consistent across the range, so do not carry one model's figure to another.
